Bio
A songwriter from Northeast Pennsylvania. He’s been called “One of the most gifted songwriters to emerge at the turn of the century” by the esteemed All Music Guide. He’s written hundreds of songs for his own records, for other artists, for movie soundtracks (critically acclaimed national documentaries Facing Sudan and Crayons and Paper), and for theatrical productions. He was the founder of the now-defunct songaweek.com, where he contributed one brand new song (for free) every week for over 5 years.
In August of 2011 he released his 9th full length CD, The Long Goodbye, a song-cycle about his father’s courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Tom is currently at work on new songs and recently completed a brand new full length play called “Maybe it’s True“.
